Instead of letting it fall to the wayside, I thought I'd share the latest gift from the Acid Girls b/c its too good to waste. It's a bit more mainstream/blog-recognizeable than they're used to playing as per the request of the station, but that doesnt mean it's not worth listening to. Here's some photos and a rad video of DAN DEACON from THE LAST CHECK YO' PONYTAIL EVER that happened last TUES APR 29!! The night featured performances by EROL ALKAN, DAN DEACON, LE CASTLE VANIA, TOTALLY MICHAEL, ACID GIRLS, HOLLYWOOD HOLT and WALLPAPER!! It was totally FREE and was one of the all time most fun parties we have ever done! The entire evening was a wild, rawkus blast with a line wrapped around the block! Over 1200 people passed through our doors with hundreds who didn't get a chance to (sorry to the people waiting outside who had to deal with the ASSHOLE bouncers). To top it off, it was even LE CASTLE VANIA's BDAY party!

CHECK YO' PONYTAIL went out with the bang it deserved and we thank you all for coming out and helping us celebrate! Big THANKS to our sponsors and everyone that worked on the show to help make it happen!

Afghan Raiders-Now that drum and bass is back in full effect and people are rioting over chamber music again, why not drop a new dance duo? These young hustlers from Las Vegas go by the names Mikey and Beans and they are on the move with this crevice hit Solid Gold that you can peruse right before you. Their label/blog Badical Beats seems to have it popping in Casino City, so check game on this.......
