One of the monthlies I do in Philly is a heavy bass party called Subdivision (if you're in the Philly area come out on Thursday we've got a free with RSVP deaiie in effect!) where I and the other resident Alex, AKA Rx drop the finest and grimiest dubstep, bassline, ghettotech, and heavy bass house music.

 

I bring this up because Alex's foray into dubstep is not his first solo project. He has an electro producer/performer alias too, PFUNKT, and his album is set to drop next week! He's following in the steps of countless DIY punk bands (notice how I didn't say Radiohead they didn't invent this) by offering a pay-what-you-want price for his album. As one of his day jobs is being a videodude he also put this together:
