It's been quite some time since we heard anything from the Acid Girls. Oh sure, they've had their Health remix here and their Heartsrvolution remix there, but what I'm especially anticipating is the album that they moved to Berlin to work on. Although an unlikely match, they've managed to get their hands on Dizzee Rascal's new single 'Sirens' off of Dizzee's album 'Maths & English' (set to be released stateside on April 29th on Def Jux).

I guess Berlin did a body good because I LOVE what they've done with the track.  Initially it sounds a bit minimal, as if you walked into a giant Berlin club at 3 am, but then gently eases into a melody of pulsating sirens. Luckily, this is the first of many good things to come.  The Acid Girls have the single 'Palms' with vocals by Frankmusik set to be released on IHEARTCOMIX records....cha-ching!
