So I guess that Gonzales has been feeling a bit experimental recently. More widely known for his production on the Feist album or his collaborations with Peaches, Gonzales is a performer in his own rite and is set to release his new album on Mercury Records on April 7th.  He remixed his own single 'Slow Down' and forgoes his normal crooning vocals for ones a bit more digitized. Due to his secret love of r&b and his desire to make the song sound more 'urban' he also enlisted Teki Latex to sprinkle his signiture French flow in it (perhaps it was also their mutual obsession with R Kelly). I quite like what he's done with it. It's a just progressive enough to sound refreshing without straying too far from the sound he's known for.
