WED DEC 21ST @ UNION NITE CLUB
We are SUPER PROUD to announce LA GIVES BACK, a special benefit show for Los Angeles’ Homeless. As already featured in LA Weekly, LAist, Mixmag, Magnetic and more, this mega show has been in the making for months and boasts several of LA’s biggest promoters coming together for one big cause, standing together as a community. Happening WED DEC 21st and taking over all 6 rooms of Union Nite Club, the event features Brownies & Lemonade, Ham on Everything, Emo Nite, Free Grilled Cheese, Space Yacht, Restless Nites, Late Night Laggers and a ton of SECRET GUESTS announced closer to the date.
LA is the best city in the world on so many levels, but the homeless epidemic is one of our biggest faults. As we grow, we need to stand together to make a difference.
100% of proceeds will go to benefit local charities.
Some quotes from our partners….
HAM ON EVERYTHING:
Being apart of the la music scene is something we have always dreamed about. We are forever grateful for all the friends and opportunities this city has given us. LA Gives Back is a great opportunity for everyone in the community to come together for a great cause!
“Los Angeles is our home and we owe everything we are to the community here. Many of the parties on the poster are the ones we attended growing up, and we’re incredibly honored to join forces with them to share a positive message to the city. This will be a historic night.”
2016 was an amazing year us at Restless Nites in so many ways, and for that we’re very thankful. But it was an equally difficult year for many other reasons, and harder so for a lot of people out there living in the shadows of this bright city.
When Franki got in touch about this event, we were honored to lend our time and energy to help our fellow Los Angelenos in need. We’re looking forward to embracing our friends on the dancefloor, in the spirit of giving some of that warmth back to those who may be without it during these colder months. Music for all. Housing for all. Love for All.
LA is an incredible place that has given us some amazing opportunities but for many people who aren’t so lucky, this city is a daily stuggle. When Franki came to us with this chance to give back to LA through doing what we love, we jumped at it. We’re honored to be able to do something like this with so many talented and creative individuals who want to do the same thing.
BROWNIES & LEMONADE:
“B&L is happy to be a part of LA Gives Back, not only to celebrate a fantastic year for independent music in our city, but more importantly to bring some joy to our homeless community that so frequently gets overlooked.”
-Chad Kenney, Producer, B&L
LATE NIGHT LAGGERS:
“As lifelong LA residents, our goal for Late Night Laggers has always been to contribute positively to the city’s culture. Walking around the streets of LA, we’ve watched it go through so many changes over the years, but we’ve also seen the consequences that come with those changes for the tens of thousands of homeless residents in the city.
By being involved with LA Gives Back, we’re excited to contribute a little bit more to our hometown and are thankful for the opportunity to do our part through music.”
