While slightly different than our normal faire, our long time love for Jessie Malakouti dates way back. In 2011, she performed at the Official IHEARTCOMIX with her band the Toy Boys. Since then, Jessie has gone on to bring her sexually charged pop persona to the masses by way of touring with Britney Spears and Nicki Minaj on the Femme Fatale tour, a Top Ten Billboard dance single featuring Yelawolf, and a video starring Mollie Thomas (the first openly gay woman to run for Miss California) written in support of the LGBTQ community during the overturn of Proposition 8. Needless to say, Malakouti is a busy gal, especially now with the pending release of her upcoming solo album.

Malakouti has certainly come a long way from her days spent in the Hollywood audition circuit. As a published songwriter, Jessie’s work has made appearances in several MTV and CW series, and helped to inspire countless others through her work at UK pop house, Xenomania. While the Toy Boys album never physically surfaced, Jessie is currently back in the studio writing and recording her debut solo album, leading off with former Toy Boys track, White Girl Wasted, a candy and liquor infused banger that is as catchy as it is fierce. Check out the video for White Girl Wasted below, and be on the lookout for more from Jessie Malakouti.
