justin bieber sorry

Let me start this post by saying that I’m sorry.  I’m sorry to you hardcore IHC fans out there who don’t want to have to see Justin Bieber’s name on our home page.  You probably came here looking for Pictureplane or Mark Redito, and instead you got this little twerp.  You deserve better than that.

Now, let me immediately follow that paragraph by saying PSYCHE.

I am NOT sorry, I’m HYPED.

Forget everything you ever knew about Justin Bieber prior to 2015.  Forget the posters hanging in your little sister’s bedroom, “Baby,” and that awful police deposition video, too.  The Biebs is a new man, and he’s got the musical chops to prove it.  In February, Jack Ü gave us a taste of what Justin/Skrillex collaborations would come, and then again in August – when we finally heard the long-awaited “What Do You Mean?”, the first single from his forthcoming album, Purpose.

Well rejoice, Beliebers, because today I present to you none other than the second single/Skrillex collab from that album: the electrifying “Sorry.”  Justin premiered the song in the form of a “dance video” on his VEVO channel and stars New Zealand dance crews ReQuest and The Royal Family.  Watch (and dance along to) the clip below.

#SORRYNOTSORRY

Go ahead, suck it up, adult humans!  Maybe it’s just time to admit that making good music is what Justin Bieber does now.  He’s three-for-three this year, and if Skrillex has anything else to do with Purpose, it’s on track to be one of the hottest albums of the year (a year chock full of hot albums).  If the pair drop any more songs together, you can bet you’ll hear about it here.  If I don’t get fired first, that is. . .

Purpose is out November 13, via Def Jam.
