Last week, we teamed up with our friends over at OWSLA for a surprise Cinco de Mayo celebration. With some help from our neighbors over at Mixmag, we put together a full-scale music event at the Wilson Lot, the conveniently placed venue we happen to have in our parking lot. Accompanied by FREE GRILLED CHEESE AND TACOS, the function was bumping from the start.
Blaise James kicked off the event with some groovin’ beats, warming up the crowd for a killer set from Softest Hard. Oshi, 4B, and Wiwek swept the crowd away with some insane tracks; good vibes all around.
The night was closed out by a surprise b2b set from Skrillex and Getter. The parking lot was crammed full of people and the energy was at an all time high. To mix it up a bit, Skrillex hit us with some classics, and Toto’s “Africa” was an all time favorite.
Just a reminder, this was a “secret” event. For more information on shows and events, as well as artist interviews, album releases, and weekly write-ups, be sure to sign up for our email list! See more photos here.
