Last Friday, we at IHEARTCOMIX made our way down to San Diego for our annual pilgrimage to Comic Con International. As always, the convention was bubbling with excitement as masked and costumed patrons flocked in and out of the Convention Center with their now iconic oversized novelty bags packed to the brim with comics, toys, artwork, and whatever else they could get their hands on.

Although the convention was as fascinating as ever, we weren’t just down there to nerd out. This year we had a mission to party hard with none other than our good friend Andrew W.K., having lined up a radical party with SPIN at 4th & B featuring a roster of incredible acts that include Hottub, Alexander Spit, and Peanut Butter Wolf. As expected, the party was an absolute blast. So great to see everyone dressed up in costume and losing their minds. In fact; Suicidegirls, Bubble Punch, and Meltdown comics all hosted a cosplay contest adding even more fun to the already exciting party.

Special thanks go out to all of our performers and everyone who came out to party. We’ll see you next year, San Diego!!!

O S A K A

P.S. Here is a clip of Andrew W.K. shredding the melody to, O Come, All Ye Faithful, on his custom made ‘Pizza’ guitar. Enjoy!!!
