Straight outta Brooklyn, the duo consisting of Thomas Mullarney III and Jacob Gossett, former art students at the Pratt Institute, join forces to create beautifully dazed melodies as, Beacon.

Beacon released their debut EP, No Body, in 2011, originally on Moodgadget. The debut creates a smooth atmosphere comprised of deep bass with R&B infused vocals that are accompanied by sweet, swelling synthesizers. You may notice an awesome 90’s R&B sample in the title track, No Body. Can you guess which one?

Almost a year later, Ghostly Int. announced that Beacon would be added to their list of elites. To celebrate, they released  Beacon’s, Feeling’s Gone from their Ghostly debut EP release, For Now. Still staying true to their sound, Beacon’s chilled vibes certainly set the mood for sexy times; and yes, the soothing, panty dropping bass comes through again. The 5 track EP explores love and all its dark alleyways, with the hope that you find your way through. Listen.

Beacon will be performing along side How To Dress Well, Born Gold, Groundislava, Bago, and Ille this Tuesday, December 4th, at Check Yo Ponytail. Bring a date and chill, this is going to be a great night.
