On January 31st, the world is experiencing the rare phenomenon called the Super Blue Blood Moon. Not only is it the second full moon in one month (aka blue moon), but a total lunar eclipse (aka blood moon) while the moon is especially close to Earth (aka super moon). While these occurrences aren’t incredibly rare on their own, the last time they happened all at once was in 1866. If you’re in the United States and want to see the entire phenomenon, you’re going to have to either stay up late or wake up extremely early. (It starts at 2:51 am in California and 5:51 am in New York.)
In our opinion, the best way to stay up (or wake up) is to blare really loud music. Tracks of the Week features the best new jams from Chromeo featuring The-Dream, Manila Killa, DJ Koze, Dungen x Woods, Milmine and more to soundtrack any moonlight dance sessions you have planned for this week.
