I’ve always been a super sensitive person. Growing up, I always felt that was my fatal flaw. However, now I feel like it’s one of my best qualities. Do I wish I cried a little less? Yes… but I would much rather be a person who feels things deeply than a person who can’t be empathetic towards a spectrum of other’s emotions. I’ve honestly never fully understood why vulnerability has been perceived as something negative in our society. With that in mind, this week’s videos are an ode to all you tender bb’s out there.

Sondre Lerche kicks it off with “Soft Feelings”, which to me, feels like 50% a dance-y proclamation of tenderness and 50% a love letter to Los Angeles. It also features little cameo of one of our favorites, Tom Krell of How to Dress Well. Next up, we’ve got Elbow‘s latest video for “Gentle Storm” which is a recreation of Godley & Creme’s “Cry” video and features Britain’s sweetheart Benedict Cumberbatch.

If you’re feeling like slow dancing, we’ve got some thoughtful numbers from Moon Duo, Tei Shi, Tangerine, and Kevin Parker from Tame Impala‘s remix of Barbagallo‘s “Longue La Nuit”. Plus, we’ve got the latest from Russia’s cutest lady ever NV and a gentle, dog-filled video from John Andrews & the Yawns. Finally, I’ve included a video of hairless cats wearing fancy hats because I can’t imagine a more vulnerable position than being naked all your life.
