There’s something so special about springtime in LA. This special feeling is heightened by the fact that the season is so fleeting – just a few weeks of 70 degree weather and BAM it’s 100 degrees every goddamn day for months. This year, the outside world is especially beautiful due to a particularly rainy winter. Practically every mountain in California is peppered with the most colorful wildflowers right now.

Spring is a time of growth, rebirth, and renewal and this isn’t exclusive to nature. Much like the cherry blossoms that surprise you with their brilliant blooms after being bare all winter, artists like Mount Kimbie, Slowdive, and The Drums are back after several year breaks with ultra-inspiring music and visuals. Kendrick Lamar is also back with a brand new single titled “HUMBLE.”, which seems to be a nod to his roots in terms of production style, and is paired with an stunning video full of art references, unique 360 video effects, and glitchy goodness. The ultimate flower queen herself, Bjork, finally released the full version of her VR video for “Notget” this week as well, and it is a total feast for the eyes. Suffice to say, it was a fantastic week for videos, guys.
