Brooklyn trio, Violens, continue to create music that exists beyond the limitations of genre. True, their sophomore release out now on Slumberland Records, finds the band in a more collaborative state; sharing in the writing and arrangement process to collectively inspire and develop their already impressive sonic signature.

All Night Low, the first single from True, showcases Violens’ more agressive side. The song’s double time pace and driving, fuzzed-out dischord creates a dense shoepunk foundation for their dreamy vocalizations to rise above. The video itself is a high contrast, strobing collage with fast cuts and flashing imagery; constantly clashing into an endless nightmare of perceived horror, regardless of the subjects just being the band themselves.
