Good news for all you Crystal Fighters fans out there! The London via San Sebastian band are now honing their DJ skills sharing their favorite tracks of the Summer for Diesel’s Only The Brave Series. The competition took place this past September as Crystal Fighters faced off vs. Duke Dumont for the Grand Final! Unfortunately our hippy heros were not victorious but nevertheless their incredible set has now been released for all the world to hear. 
The hour long mix is testament to the exceptional music taste of the band and included remixes of artists from the U.K., U.S., and Australia. From Is Tropical to Daft Punk to Disclosure the mix has that feel good theme that flows through all Crystal Fighters music. Of course you’ll find some fresh new exclusive remixes of their own tracks buried within this stellar set. The best part is the mix is available for free download so add it to your essential collection and take a look at the impeccable selection of songs in the track listing after the jump.
Diesel also commissioned a short behind-the-scenes video for Battle of the DJs that explores the house and studio of Crystal Fighters as they discuss the importance of DJ knowledge in addition to being a live band. They note, “It’s so important for musicians to be DJs in many ways just to keep on top of what is out there, what is possible. It’s like being a good reader to be a good writer.
