Sub Pop starlett’s, Dum Dum Girls, have released a smashing new track Rimbauld Eyes as a precursor to their forthcoming full length album Too True, set to debut January 28th. The second single to be released from the full length, it looks like we can expect more amazing mega tunes from one of Los Angeles’ staple girl band in 2014.
The new track is a shining remnant of post punk pop that has Dum Dum fans sitting anxiously on their hands for the release of Too True. Balladesque guitar riffs and haunting vocals, give way to a tapping tambourine and lyrical echoes that form the dark and sexy aesthetic that Dum Dum Girls lavish.
Veterans of Check Yo Ponytail and long time friends of IHEARTCOMIX, we expect the Dum Dum Girls to have a strong 2014 ahead with their highly anticipated album. Check out their music video, Lost Boys and Girls Club, produced in collaboration with H&M’s new project H&M Life as disturbed and destructive angels wreak havoc on a paradise lost finding identity in the Lost Boys and Girls Club. Dum Dum Girls have already sold out The Echo for their L.A. record release and have a nation wide tour set for Spring including SXSW and Coachella, (tour dates after the jump).
