Since it’s my birthday today (feel free to high five me in the street) I just wanted to give everyone a preview of what my party was going to be like tonight. Thankfully, the Black Lips new video for Boys In The Woods does all the leg work for me. Boys in The Woods is a swirling and sloshy slow blues jaunt that makes me feel all fucked up just listening to it. Then there is the video itself. Directed by Matt Swinsky and the infamous ATL Twins, the video features heavy drug use, hate crimes, violence, guitars on fire, and sexual deviancy with the band right in the middle of it all, perfectly soundtracking their fucked up woodland dystopia. Fun fact: The video was shot in 4K resolution, so if you want to defile your fancy new 4K TV, the Black Lips got you covered.

Boys in The Woods is the first single off of their upcoming LP, Underneath The Rainbow. The album is slated to come out on March 18th. Until then, tell all your coworkers to go away so you can wither uncomfortably through this very, very, very, NSFW opus.
