Fade to Mind darling, Kelela has just shared her forgotten track The High and its finally getting the attention it deserves.  This single was on the DJ Kitty Cash (love the free) mixtape that was released around the same time as the insanely popular Cut 4 Me mixtape, which created such a frenzy no one noticed!

The High isn’t the level of banger as singles Bank Head (Prod by Kingdom) or Cut 4 Me but contains the signature emotional bass heavy production and intimate vocal quality that we love her for.  The sprit of Aaliyah is alive in this one and I’m not mad.
