You may remember a few months ago we had this kickstarter thing we were doing for the Check Yo Ponytail movie. We had a bunch of our friends like 12th Planet, Andrew W.K., Big Freedia, and Eric Andre make us shout out videos that led up to this ridiculous 8 hour telethon hosted live at Meltdown Comics that coincided with the Kickstarter’s conclusion. The whole event was a fucking headache to put together, but in true IHEARTCOMIX fashion we pulled it off and created what may be one of the most ridiculous things i’ve ever been a part of.

We had Johnny Ryan live drawing different variations of Santa Claus fucking our hosts. We had Blake Anderson from Workaholics, Lee from Trash Talk, HEALTH, and Jonah Ray come kick it early with Yasmine from Tearist (and her dad), Antwon, and Gaslamp Killer also helping us close out the night. We had a kid say, “Fuck” a bunch of times. Chippy Nonstop and Brittney Scott took over the show sometime during the day while we were all drinking whiskey somewhere, probably. Great music from Nadastrom, Loudpvck, gLAdiator, and a bunch of others jumping on throughout the day. There was even a pizza party at some point either before or after we did a satellite phone call to with Pictureplane as he just got off an airplane in Austin. Or maybe that was after the live satellite call between Grumpy Cat and Gaslamp Killer…can’t remember. There’s a lot i’m forgetting.

Regardless, here is the video recap of all the madness for you to enjoy. Mind you it is not 8 hours long, so shout out to Demonbabies for condensing it down for us a bit. All that insanity is too much in 8 hour doses. Nevertheless, get amongst it!
