Will Phillips, musical pseudonym Tourist, has quickly become one of the premiere talents to watch in 2014 and with the worldwide release of his Patterns EP his following is about to skyrocket. We were very fortunate to book London based Tourist for an intimate show at The Lyric Theatre a few months back but after touring festival season this year we expect his next L.A. date to be sure sell out. Today he’s released the last single from his Patterns EP, Trust In You that serves as the first track of the album available now on Monday Records. After countless spins of the new Patterns EP, there are certainly standout tracks but more importantly the potential of more Tourist gems to come. Trust In You is a humble a introduction for the EP as things quickly become more vocal on the title track Patterns featuring Lianne La Havas. One of the first singles to be released form the EP, Together stands as solid dance track only to be out done by Phillips incredibly popular I Can’t Keep Up featuring his own vocals. His poweful lyrics combined with the slightest amount of reverb fill a room and ignite fire with the sonic drop. We “show love” for this outstanding EP and can’t wait for what’s next.
