Last night M.I.A. made an appearance on Late Night with Seth Meyers to help her promote her new album Matangi and current tour! Performing her leading single “Double Bubble Trouble,” M.I.A. was accompanied by what seems to be a throwback 90’s break dancer with all the enthusiasm but only half the moves. The addition of a floating glowstick drone moving about the stage and a backdrop reading “1984 is NOW” , only added to the eclectic set as M.I.A. delivered a strong performance of the standout track.
