Today, German electro duo Digitalism have released their long awaited new single Wolves marking a move in a new direction. They promise that 2014 will be The Year of surprises for Digitalism fans, with Wolves being the first official release to subscribe to it.  After meeting in a record store and joining forces as a DJ team almost seven years ago, Jens Moelle and Ismail Tuefekci have found a fresh sound that the fans all crave. Months of watching social response, previewing it on Boiler Room, and road testing demos at their twice monthly East-LA warehouse parties, Digitalism has finally released this amazing track for free stream! Digitalism’s signature progression is still very alive however the music has taken on bright new light, with an inspiring melody transitioning seamlessly to a mega house anthem. In speaking of the new musical direction Digitalism notes, “In 2014 we want to let the music and creative side of our work take the forefront of our image, which unfortunately means that you will be seeing a less personable version of us, especially in light of how much time we will spend in the studio.” So we may not be seeing as much of them on tour, but we’ll be rewarded with more digital gems as Digitalism have a raft of releases to get-out between now and the start of 2015!
