Aussie-house babe Catlips just released a bumpin’ new single off her debut EP, Casual. Its called ‘Fade,’ and if it’s any indication of Catlips’ future on the pop-EDM scene, the future looks brighter than the sun if you were like 10 feet away from it.
Catlips is the moniker of Katie Campbell who first made her mark down under as the keyboardist for Kucka, but now she’s dominating the land of new wave production. She hooks you instantly by manipulating her own voice, working with analog and digital set ups, and creating companion visual loops to go alongside her raucous live sets.
When she’s not supporting electronic gods like Baths and spinning records in Istanbul and London, she’s remixing IHC 1NFINITY artist Chela’s single ‘Handful of Gold,’ which you can check out here.
Her five track release, due March 6, is available for preorder on iTunes now.
Here’s ‘Fade’ for all your listening pleasures.
