Flume, also known as Australia’s finest export other than zoo koalas and Crocodile Dundee, teased at his new album “Skin” this week with a supercut of songs from the LP.
“Skin” doesn’t have a street date yet, but from the preview, you can immediately tell it’s marked by his signature intense, building sound design. Broken synths, grimy percussion and samples recorded from the field of real life perforate through, giving your auditory cortex the immediate sense that “Skin” is something that’s probably going to be serenading festivals worldwide this summer.
