IHC father Franki Chan sat down with Rebel Radio recently to discuss what it was like to let go of live shows after a 10 year stint influencing L.A.’s nightlife scene. It was a hard decision to make, but a re-branding effort any entrepreneur has to face in order to diversify, improve and remain in touch with their passions.
In the interview, Franki also doled out some sage wisdom for other aspiring entrepreneurs about how to make marketing work when running an independent business that relies on cutting-edge taste and authenticity. He also discussed IHC’s upbringing, his early days mingling in the punk scene and working with Steve Aoki and finally, what the future of IHC holds. It’s one to listen to for anyone who’s tried to make it on their own (looking at you, comic book artists).
