Jesus H. Christ this was a fantastic week for music…

I mean, three of my all time favorite artists Toro y Moi, Future Islands, and Nick Hakim released songs this week. Mac DeMarco also released a breezy track that’s already got me daydreaming of cruising down the highway in the summertime. It can’t be a good musical week without discovering some new artists and Brockhampton, Lisa Hannigan, and Gabriella Cohen filled that never ending void in my heart this week. Plus, y’all already know I’m a huge Star Wars nerd, so when I found out Mountain Goats wrote a song about cannibal jedis, I was all about it. Finally, our pal Ducky released a great new track with Jessica Audiffred which opened my eyes to the fact that trap can go hard and be adorable as fuck at the same damn time.
