JPEGMAFIA joins the IHC 1NFINITY universe with “The Who,” a newly discovered gem from the same sessions that birthed his 2018 critically acclaimed LP, Veteran. “The Who” is an exercise in playful lyricism over a dreamstate-inducing beat. PEGGY trades playful musings equally braggadocious and subtly self-deprecating, meanwhile guest vocalist Eyas soothingly sings the merits of pressing pause on her fantasies. The entire track clocks in at a quick 2 minutes and 31 seconds, yet it’s infectious quality demands multiple repeat listens.
