Having just wrapped up a two year tour in support of their sophomore album, Alesia, the French team of Pierre Leroux and Victor Le Masne or Housse de Racket as the world knows them, are celebrating by finally releasing the video for their record’s third single, Aquarium. In this retrofuturistic jaunt, complete with vintage filtering and spectral flares, cathedral organs swell into a pronounced rhythmic backdrop. It is here that the band’s understanding of tonal structures come to play as arpeggiated bass goes on to stabilize the track’s glistening guitar leads, all before erupting into a melancholic bliss of nostalgic sentiments.
