Los Angeles transplants Kyle “Micky Park” Edwards and Courcy Magnus, aka So Japan, have been making waves in the music world  recently collaborating with artists like Maya, and most recently M.I.A. The duo produced three tracks for her upcoming album and are on the verge of breaking upwards into the spotlight. We’re excited to have them at Check Yo Ponytail 2 with TOKiMONSTA, Brooke Candy, PIPES, and BRRRANGaDANG and to prepare for the momentous occasion So Japan have made us an exclusive Check Yo Ponytail MIXTAPE that premiered today on HYPETRAK!

Our CYP2 MIXTAPE series has become a place for up and coming talent as well as accomplished artists to mix their favorite tracks of the moment into 30 minute or hour long MIXTAPES. However, So Japan’s CYP2 MIXTAPE is an exception to the rule as every track on the mix is previously unreleased. We’re are huge supporters of new music so you can imagine our excitement over a CYP2 mixtape full of unheard tracks. There is no track listing for the mix because it’s so fresh but nevertheless it’s free for download.
