One night while chatting at Check Yo Ponytail 2, our former intern Elliott (Sloane Peterson) and I connected on a mutual love of 90’s house. This is a sound that I have lived and breathed both as a DJ and a club kid, but have struggled to channel in my own productions as Bathhouse. This led the both of us to start sharing bits and pieces of headphone edits we had done over the last several months.
Sometimes meeting the right collaborator can come from the most unexpected places, the results even more astounding. At 22, Elliott has a remarkable ear for that over the top, decadent house sound considering he’s spent very little time in gay clubs, haha.
