It’s been almost a year since Anamanaguchi released their Endless Fanatasy LP completely independent of any labels. They sought the help of their fans to bring the project to life using Kickstarter to fund the album, videos and distribution costs and the fans responded in a huge way donating well beyond the target goal. The album recieved rave reviews as a cornerstone of chiptune, but even more intriguing was the addition of Meesh’s vocals featured in Japan Air, on what had historically been just instrumental tracks. Only a few months ago Anamanaguchi released their Prom Night single featuring Bianca Raquel’s soaring sounds and now today they’ve released a brand new single Pop It with some oh so kawaii vocals!
Anamanaguchi’s new single layers they’re signature 8-bit samples with blended vocaloid loops giving this track a refreshing and uplifting melody that makes it perfect for your Summer pool party! Dropping the original in tandem with a funky Pop It remix from Gerald, Anamanguchi have given us a prime example of how their sound can lend it self to a diverse array of genres.
