We are very excited to announce Saturday, August 9th IHC Presents: Crocodiles, Tweens, SISU, and Heaven at Los Globos! Charles Rowell and Brandon Welchez have been making music together since they were 18 years old but their music has grown up over the last decade just as they have. They met in the dirty glow of San Diego sun and now split their lives between New York City and London producing music as Crocodiles. Their new album Crimes Of Passion, finds Crocodiles in scintillating form and is full of the kind of carefree rock that we all identify with in our rock star hearts. They’ll be joined by Cincinnati’s trash pop trio Tweens, who inspire such teen mania with crashing drums, cute vocals, and catchy lyrics. Their self titled album, Tweens, is a collection of new, garage-influenced tracks, sprinkled with some of the band’s older, doo-wop influenced favorites. SISU will also be attendance serving up some dark melodic tunes from their new album Blood Tears. SISU’s Sandra Vu notes, “I like to combine ‘loner sounds’—echo-ridden, cold, distorted synth sounds—with pop melodies,” and Blood Tears certainly represents this concept. Kicking things off will be L.A.’s own Heaven, led by Jacob Cooper, sharing gloomy pop songs from Heaven’s self titled EP. Tickets for the show go on sale Monday so set you reminder and pick up yours below!
