Only a few more days until Bane, the legendary Massachusetts hardcore band, release their final album Don’t Wait Up, out on Equal Vision Records on May 13th. Preparing to embark on the final tour of their careers, there’s bound to be some sentimental moments in store as they share their songs for the last time, but I guess all good things must come to an end eventually. Last week, they release their music video for Final Backward Glance, that serves as sort of a nostalgic montage set to the screams of front man Aaron Bedard and thunderous drums!
After three full length records, more than a few world tours, and countless compilations, Bane are going out on there own terms describes Bedard, “This is us with our jackets on, our hair is clean and we’re walking out the door and we look back at our loved ones and we’re like…don’t wait up…we’re going to be out late tonight.” The music video throws you into the pit of the live Bane experience interlaced with thier pre-show routine of loading in, creating the set list, and pre-setting the stage. Known for being Boston Straight Edge, Aaron Bedard feeds off the energy of the crowd, coherently screaming an uninhibited goodbye. Stream their last album Don’t Wait Up after the jump and catch them on tour with Turnstile, Take Offense, and Soul Search at The Echo on June 5th!
