Today, Norwegian producer Magnus August Høiberg, aka Cashmere Cat, released his debut vinyl EP Wedding Bells on Lucky Me! He’s let creativity run wild on the new EP, unbeholden to conventional pop structures from vocalists. Mastering a style all his own, his songs are built in equal parts from glittering RnB, French electro & 00’s club Hip Hop. Often camera shy, Cashmere Cat maybe warming up to the idea of a live show as he stated in a recent interview, “my craziest dream is to perform a live show without getting booed or laughed at. I want to sing and play the keyboard – and I´m really bad at both.” He has certainly honed his sound on Wedding Bells with a beautiful melange of beats melding with his signature instrumentation.
