Big Freedia has been workin’ it lately with an appearance on NPR’s, All Things Considered. As Freedia spells it out, “Bounce Music is up-tempo, heavy bass, call and respond music. It has a lot to do with a lot ass shakin’ as well.” The Queen Diva was also the subject of a new documentary on Pitchfork that heads down to the Big Easy to capture Big Freedia in her hometown of New Orleans. Here we see the bounce rapper surrounded by family and friends that continue to make her the strong performer she continues to be.
