Today, New York synth maestro Seth Haley, aka Com Truise, released his Wave 1 EP for free stream via Dazed Digital. The seven track EP experiments with new tempos and serves as the transitional chapter in the “Synthetic Astronaut’s” journey. Haley notes, “In this EP he arrives on a planet which kind of mirrors Earth but not exactly – there’s something eerie about it, something familiar but something peculiar as well.”
Haley has infused his love of science fiction story into the fabric of his syncopations and synths. Sailing our sense of imagination into a futuristic time warp and simulataneously creating mystique for his next release, Com Truise is a synth story teller ahead of his time. We’ve already had the chance to hear the wavy singles Subsonic and Declination but you can now stream the full story below. Ghostly International will officially release Wave 1 on February 18th, conveniently ten days before his live performance at the Echoplex.
