This Thursday, Crystal Fighters return to Los Angeles after a worldwide tour promoting their most recent Cave Rave album. There is a mystic element to their music they’re very aware of that they attribute to the environment and culture found in the Basque country of Spain. The U.K. transplants were inspired to make the move to this region after their original singer brought back her grandfather’s old notebooks and after reading about the culture and music the choice was clear.

Recently Noisey documented their return to San Sebastian for a special performance of the Cave Rave album including collaborations with local musicians to a predominantly local audience. The venue was a literal cave found in the hills of the Basque country and offer unique acoustics found nowhere else in the world.
