Curses is the rekindled project from Trouble & Bass ring leader Luca Venezia! Formerly known as Drop The Lime, Venezia is exploring house music with growing ferocity but not without including some signature bass and low end vocals. Today he debuted the B Side, Eyes On You, to his previously released new single Need You. The track pulses with snappy snares and high hats as a dark and dissonant melody emerges slowly from the shadows. A haunting vocal loop adds to this deep house dirge that will have you yearning for the dancefloor.
Regarding the project Venezia notes, “I was going to a lot of after-hours parties in Brooklyn and loved it. It inspired me to go to the studio and suddenly I had a whole bunch of new songs. Next thing I was djing at different parties around New York and just loved it. It was at that point when I knew Curses was coming back.” Curses Bark In The Dark EP will be released on vinyl on July 21st and digitally on August 4th on Let’s Play House Records.
