Today, L.A. native and Magical Properties founder Daedelus released his new music video for song Onward off his brand new album The Light Brigade out now on Brainfeeder. Alfred Darlington has cited the Crimean War of 1853–56 as the albums inspiration ironically completed before the recent skirmish in the Ukranian port city. Directed by Travis Flournoy, the new music video is set in a living room decorated with the relics of another time. As the images come to life and project themselves around the room, Daedelus’ aural lullabye narrates the historical footage of personal struggle and hardship. Alfred describes it as, “a mediative look into surreal domestic life colored by Russian rainbows and Ukrainian exploits. The light brigade is backdrop as we go ever onward.” Watch the new video below and be sure to add his new album The Light Brigade to your collection.
