Newly signed Mad Decent producer, Dawn Golden, will be dropping his debut EP Still Life on May 13th to a growing wave of anticipation. Dexter Tortoriello has honed his slow groove melancholy vibes into a ten self reflective tracks that draw a clear picture of Dawn Golden’s aesthetic. Formerly Dawn Golden and Rosy Cross, the duo parted ways allowing Dexter to dive head first into production indulging his every musical whim. We were excited to have him play the Mad Decent showcase at this year’s Austin Party Weekend at SXSW, as we had big expectations for his solo project and now, we see they’re coming to fruition!
The Still Life EP sonically beckons a deeper understanding of the songs and ourselves, conjuring the power to inspire in all of us. A tale of tender hearted sentiments it carries us through a full scale introspection with ambient tones and organic melodies.
