A few months ago, we pulled out all the stops at Check Yo Ponytail to bring you up close and personal with one of rock history’s more incredible origin stories, only. I am of course referring to the now legendary DEATH from Detroit. After finally being discovered over 30 years after they recorded their first masters, DEATH are finally experiencing the fame and recognition they deserve thanks to the internet, Drag City Records, and the critically acclaimed documentary from Drafthouse Films titled, A Band Called DEATH.

Every Wednesday for the next five weeks, we’ll be premiering a new video from DEATH’s incredible performance at Check Yo Ponytail, starting at the beginning with, Keep on Knocking. It was an absolute pleasure to work with the now legendary brothers from Detroit, and we certainly hope you enjoy watching as much as we enjoyed having them out to LA!
