We are still beaming from The Flaming Lips Oczy Mlody album release party last night. IHEARTCOMIX teamed up with Beats by Dre to not only commemorate the release of the album, but to celebrate Wayne Coyne’s birthday as well. It was a magical night jam packed with glitter, unicorns, teddy bears… oh, and lots of bondage too!
Right as you entered Mack Sennett Studios, you were met with a rainbow road that led you to all the fun activities throughout the space.
Didn’t want to turn up? Follow the rainbow all the way to the left, and it led you to the “quiet room” where guests could chill out on bean bag chairs while listening to the album on Beats headphones. It was truly a “choose your own adventure” type of party.
Pennywild created the good vibes from the very start with an amazing DJ set as IHC character, Anarchy Bunny. After warming up the crowd, the Brothers Griiin jumped on deck and astronauts, wizards, and nuns alike let their hair down. Around midnight, the party got really special when everyone sang happy birthday to the main man himself, Wayne Coyne.
Among the other highlights were getting free light up toys from the glimmering Swarovski encrusted Heartsrevolution ice cream truck and getting tickled, tied up, and choked with candy from three badass dominatrices. It was truly one of the most magical events we’ve ever produced.
