When I started this column I set out to create a platform to highlight female musicians who are making waves and there is no one who exemplifies that more than Alison Wonderland.  Hailing from Sydney and cute as a god damn button, Alison is a lady DJ / powerhouse producer.  Starting out like most of us as a creator of bedroom laptop productions,  Alison has since honed her craft and become a great studio producer!

In 2012, she did a killer debut iTunes mix displaying a wide range of taste entitled Welcome to Wonderland (Mixed By Alison Wonderland) that included a few of her own remixes as well as tracks from Major Lazer, Charlie XCX, Lykki Li and others.  The following year she released the original hip hop banger anthem Get Ready (feat. Fishing)  and has been touring internationally nonstop ever since.

Alison will be doing a very rare small venue performance in L.A. before heading back to Australia for the Wonderland Warehouse Project.  Catch her B2B with DJ Hoodboi at the Lash on Monday night for Mass Appeal Mondays!
