Yesterday OWSLA quartet Hundred Waters released their latest music video for there organic electonic tune Cavity off their next full-length album to be released May 27! The Gainsville, FL natives have relocated to Los Angeles to record the new LP and lead singer Nicole Miglis spoke with NPR about the new single. Migilis describes, “(It’s) like watering a field but so much it becomes muddy, or filling a bathtub with so much water it just floods the house.” A beautiful ballad we’re not afraid to drown in.
The video was shot by Langan using one flashlight, collecting unique, fragmented images of Miglis. He described the concept to NPR as “playing with the idea of hollowness, attempting to define emptiness by its edges, visually.” It truly is a striking portrait of sonic soundwaves and silhouetted beauty.
