Last month, IHEARTCOMIX announced our involvement in the new album and comic book by Lights, titled Skin&Earth. If you missed it, we have been collaborating with Warner Bros. Records, Entertainment One, and Dynamite Entertainment to bring this first-of-it’s-kind project to life and connect the dots between the comic book and music worlds.

Written and drawn by Lights herself, each issue of the comic book series will be released alongside new music from Lights’ latest record leading up to the full release of the Skin&Earth album later this year.

Today, fans can take a first look at Lights’ new universe Skin&Earth digital intro issue via Nerdist. The zero issue will be officially released on digital platforms in June as a lead into the first issue of Skin&Earth, out Wednesday, July 12, just before Comic-Con International.
