Since the indefinite hiatus of the LOL Boys following the release of their Changes EP last year, Jerome LOL has emerged as a talent all his own. Known for his unique remixes and addiction to all things internet Jerome LOL has performed for Boiler Room TV here in Los Angeles as well as playing major events such as the Friends of Friends SXSW showcase in Austin last year and more recently HARD Summer. His overall vibe definitely suits the pool side but works just as well in the dance hall.

His tracks and remixes border progressive house, and jazz with creative transitions using beats and live instrumentation. His latest Subaru Mix 4 Logo is the perfect blend of synth and samples that help reminisce the good times of Summer. An ode to his ’96 Subaru Impreza, Jerome LOL is a fan of previewing his work while riding in his car and with this mix everyone can share his sentiment.

His unabashed infatuation with tumblr and 1.0 visuals is evident in his interview with Vice earlier this year. This obsession has only elevated his reputation in the music community and even caught the eye of Skrillex leading to a collaborative website design. The last music video for LOL Boys Changes took collaboration to the extreme using mostly screen shots of people’s reaction to the song and went viral almost immediately. It’s clear the collaborative theme will continue to pervade his aesthetic so we look forward to seeing what comes next from Jerome LOL.
