Over the weekend, Montreal producer Jacques Greene was featured on the latest episode of Resident Advisor Sessions performing his new single 1 4 ME. Greene has been bubbling along nicely for the past few years, releasing emotionally charged bass and house music on Lucky Me, and with his new EP After Life, After Party set to drop November 12th, we expect this will be yet another highlight of his signature sounds. It’s clear in this Resident Advisor Session his calculated cues and creative beats are the current underneath this moody jam and we look forward to seeing him in action this December at Los Globos. Greene explians that this new EP were, “Tracks were born out of experimenting with a bit of self-imposed restraints. Afterlife was a particular sound palette I wanted to stick to and see what would come of it.” This sound pallette is definitely one we can dig.
