This Sunday, we welcome one of Trap music’s rising stars, Luminox to IHC Sundays at Drai’s Hollywood. Growing up watching his talented graffiti artist father, Luminox quickly developed his own style of graffiti and his tag, Luminox, translated in latin as illuminated night! Once he started DJing, he drew on the influences that inspired him the most such as Flosstradamus, Diplo, and Skrillex. However, Luminox has emerged as talent in his own right with his recent original mixes I Run This and Tantrum. Since the Trap movement exploded the crossover between electronic music has been too enticing for new explorers to resist. Luminox is a young pioneer eager to discover the depths of this new hybrid.
Luminox is also a masterful remix artist and has flipped club hits like Major Lazer’s Original Don, The Party Squad’s Go Down Low, and most notably his trap anthem remix for Bingo Players’ Rattle. These certainly helped catapult him to another level of producing and he has risen to the challenge. His Trapstyles Vol. 1 laid to rest any doubt that he was headed for big festival stages and international acclaim. See if you can shake the sounds of his signature remix Rattle and be prepared for more adrenaline fueled heaters in the near future.
