Once the summer heat starts cooking everything like a proverbial egg (or even vegan tempeh scramble, you Echo Park vegan assholes) on the sidewalk, people start becoming divided. They either turn to their summer bangers and turn into a walking, talking Mad Decent groupie, or they start to bump the down-tempo poolside sex jams. It’s that polarized, there’s no middle ground. None.
If, like myself, you’re part of the latter group, congratulations because we’ve got your down-tempo sex jam fix right here.
It’s a new track called “Still Have Us” by Minnesota indie producer Aaron Cosgrove of Velvet Music Group and if you’ve ever gotten tingles in your pants from a Chet Faker song, you’re going to want to check this out. He even has a Chet beard! It’s got smooth, synthy-y production and hooks catchy enough to sing along even when you haven’t learned the lyrics yet. We don’t know what’s to follow from AC and the Velvet Group, but I’m sure once this song burns the internet down in the next five minutes we’ll hear from Mr. Cosgrove and his people.
And in the meantime, enjoy the poetic stylings and smooth sexy silky love sounds like this one: “As bad as this hurts don’t let this destroy the beautiful human you are.”
A change of panties, please.
