MDSGN’s new video for Eggs is a weirdly blissed out, and smooth-as-hell, version of Man Who Fell to Earth, perfect for a dreamy California summer. Pronounced “Mind Sign,” the project of Ringgo Ancheta, a beatmaker and producer with Phillipino and East Coast roots, has definitely brought his move to L.A. into this jam with it’s zen and mellow, 90’s acid Venice Beach vibe. The visuals offer us a VHS trip where a Major Tom spaceman hangs out in the sun with a sonic background that is easy-listening, lo-fi and atmospheric with a dash of trip-hop. Mix in some slightly poppy R&B vocals heavy on the reverb and this super spacey single evolves into beautiful bubbly bells and jazz tune that you could defenitely listen to soaking on the beach.
